Lynne Jacobs, Ph.D., teaches and trains gestalt therapists and psychoanalytic therapists world-wide. She is co-founder of the Pacific Gestalt Institute and also a training and supervising analyst at the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis. She is co-author (with Rich Hycner), of The Healing Relationship in Gestalt Therapy: A Dialogic / Self Psychology Approach. She has also written numerous articles, predominantly for gestalt therapists. She has an abiding interest in furthering our understanding of relational factors in the therapy process, and has developed, along with Gary Yontef, an approach to working with the enduring relational themes which abound in any on-going therapy process, called "relational gestalt therapy.
